Car Insurance
Here are a few things you need to consider:
Do I have the correct liability limits?
Many people underestimate the expenses of an auto accident; medical bills, property damage, lost wages, pain and suffering, and disfigurement just to name a few. These expenses add up quickly in today's society. Having the proper liability limits protects your assets and future earnings from the unexpected. Talk to one of our agents today to make sure you are covered correctly!
What optional coverages are available?
There are many optional coverages that can be added to an auto policy. Towing - In case your car breaks down. Rental reimbursement - If your car is in the body shop after an accident, this will pay for a rental car so you aren't left stranded. Gap Coverage - If your car is in an accident and is worth less than what your loan is for, this pays for the difference in value (usually up to 25%). Replacement Coverage - Get a brand new vehicle if your vehicle is totaled out.
Is it beneficial to have higher deductibles?
The higher the deductible the less the insurance costs. So if you currently have $100 or $250 deductibles it would probably be beneficial to raise them to $500 or $1,000 and save a decent amount of money. Every persons situation is different but higher deductibles usually make sense because of the cost savings.
